Pro Tips

  • Arrive early. The bridge gets crowded, especially on weekends. 90 minutes before sunset is ideal for prime spots.
  • 🧭Face east. The bats fly toward Lady Bird Lake, so the east sidewalk of the bridge gives the best views.
  • 🎒Bring bug spray. Mosquitoes are active at dusk too. Ironic, but true.
